# Find AP Tutors — Vetted Specialists You Can Book Today

This is the Nerd Notes tutor directory for parents and students. Every tutor
listed is an AP specialist who teaches one subject, has hundreds of hours of
teaching behind them, and was reviewed and approved by Nerd Notes before their
calendar went live. Pick a tutor, open their calendar, and book a 1-to-1
online lesson in a few clicks.

## How booking works

1. **Choose a specialist** — the list shows every tutor currently taking bookings, with their subject and a short bio. Only the tutor's own subject is listed; there are no generalists.
2. **Book on their calendar** — each tutor has a live calendar of open times shown in your own time zone. Pick a time and check out; hours are bought at checkout, so there is nothing to set up first.
3. **Meet on Zoom** — the lesson and its Zoom link show on your calendar, a confirmation email arrives right away, and an email reminder is sent before the lesson.
4. **Track progress** — lesson recaps, progress tracking and practice are kept on your calendar so parents and students can see what was covered and what comes next.

## What every tutor has cleared

- **Deep expertise** in the AP curriculum they teach — the whole course, not just the chapter you're stuck on.
- **500+ hours of teaching** before their first booking here.
- **Based in the US**, across Pacific, Mountain, Central and Eastern time.
- **A setup for showing written work live** — drawing tablet, iPad and Pencil, or whiteboard — so every step is visible as it is written.
- **Real availability** — at least 3 hours open across 3 days a week.

## Pricing and hours

- Every tutor sets their own hourly rate; it is shown on their calendar.
- You buy a **package of hours for a specific tutor**: one payment, you choose how many hours at checkout, no subscription. Hours bought for one tutor are used for lessons with that tutor. You can hold hours with more than one tutor at a time.
- **Package hours expire 60 days after purchase.** The expiration date shows next to your balance; expired hours are not refunded.

- Checkout, refunds and payment questions are handled by Nerd Notes, not by the individual tutor.

## Cancellations

- Cancel **at least 8 hours before** the lesson and the hours go straight back to your balance with the same expiration date.
- If those hours had already expired, you get **one 24-hour window** to rebook them with the same tutor.
- A lesson cancelled **less than 8 hours** before it starts cannot be rescheduled; those hours are used.

## Good to know
