# Book Lessons — Nerd Notes 1-to-1 Tutoring Calendar

This is the Nerd Notes booking calendar for live 1-to-1 online tutoring.
Students and parents pick a tutor, see that tutor's real availability
converted to their own timezone, and book sessions — each booking
automatically creates a Zoom meeting.

## What you can do

- **Browse live availability** — a month calendar of bookable slots, shown in the student's local timezone. A built-in tutor switcher lists every active Nerd Notes tutor; `?tutor=<handle>` links directly to a specific tutor's calendar.
- **Book a session** — pick a slot and confirm; a Zoom meeting is created automatically and the session appears in your account.
- **Manage bookings** — logged-in students see upcoming sessions, booking history, and credit balance. Cancelling with at least 8 hours notice returns the credit automatically; calendars open on a rolling advance window, with new dates unlocking daily.
- **Credits work across tutors** — one credit balance books time with any tutor on the platform.
- **After each session** — students get an AI-generated lesson recap, and targeted practice questions based on what was covered can be assigned to their dashboard.
