Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! Improving your understanding of Physics and getting better scores is the main goal. Students generally start seeing the results after 4-5 classes. We set the bar high and work towards scoring 90% or more on all tests and quizzes.

Unlike other tutors, I use an iPad to seamlessly share my handwritten notes in real time! This makes the learning process 10 times easier for students! I only teach what is necessary and try to make the learning experience as fun as possible. Furthermore, I have worked with college professors to create advanced physics materials that is included in all programs! These are proven materials and teaching strategies, as 90% of my students score above 90% on standardized tests.

All lessons are online via zoom.

For group classes: No. We record all lessons which will be sent out if you miss a lesson.
For 1-to-1 classes: No. You can cancel or reschedule your lesson booking at any time!

For group and 1-to-1 lessons: problem sets are provided. It’s optional, but we encourage students to do them.

I use FRAMEWORKS. This relies on using logic rather than just memorizing formulas. 100’s of students have told me how Physics makes so much more sense after learning frameworks for each topic. I also tend to practice concepts with plenty of problems to strengthen the understanding. Everything is fun and simplified for students of all learning backgrounds!

Physics tutoring, specifically for AP can range from $50 per lesson all the way to $200. I pride myself in providing EXCELLENT quality to all my students. I strive for perfection in both my teaching methods and delivery.

More over, I am incredibly time efficient. I make every second count. I focus on optimizing my students goals in the LEAST number of lessons possible.

If at any point you are not satisfied, you can always get a refund.

We strive for all our students have the best learning experience. As per our refund policy, we give full refunds, no questions asked, if you are not happy with the program.

Although I aim to teach you in the LEAST number of lessons possible, I understand that tutoring can get expensive. To make the best use of our hour together, please be prepared to learn as soon as you enter the lesson. This includes sending materials, questions, and topics ahead of the lesson.

Additionally, nerd-notes is working on adding self-paced courses that are based on my teaching method. This will be a much cheaper alternative.

In the meantime, please feel free to use other tutoring platforms, and use nerd-notes’s free materials to excel!

It’s very common for me to run behind schedule, as all lessons are back to back. I should be late no longer than 5 to 10 minutes.

In the event I’m late to a lesson, please note that I will always complete a full ONE hour lesson. I set a timer at the beginning of each lesson for 60 minutes.
