What's the difference between regular tutoring and the Membership?
The tutoring membership is a recurring subscription that offers discounted prices per lesson.
Regular tutoring hours are purchased “on demand” and are not discounted.
Other than that the service you will receive is identical. We’re committed to helping you learn fast no matter which plan you choose.
When can I start booking lessons?
Immediately. As long as you have credit hours you can book lessons. If you don’t have credit hours yet, you can still look for tutoring availability our calendar page.
Can I cancel my lessons?
Absolutely! Last minute events happen. As long as you cancel within 8 hours of the start of the lesson, the hour will be automatically credited back to your account.
Can I pick any tutor?
Your Physics Membership includes dedicated 1-on-1 tutoring with Jason. Need help with other subjects? Easily book additional tutors at their individual hourly rates.
What if I don't use all my monthly hours?
Unlike other tutoring sites, Nerd Notes rolls over any un-used hours to the next month. All hours will expire at the end of each school year (June 30). You can cancel your plan anytime if you feel like you don’t need more hours.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes! Feel free to upgrade or downgrade between any plans at any time. Note: the new plan you choose will become effective at the end of the month.
What if I use up all my lesson hours?
If you used up all your monthly hours you can either:
(a) Upgrade to a higher plan
(b) Purchase individual credit hours at the normal rate
What happens if I pause or cancel my plan?
You can cancel or pause any time. When you do so, no further payments will be charged. The remaining hours on your account can still be used to book lessons until the end of the school year.
