AP Physics C: E&M
13.6 Circuits with Capacitors and Inductors (LC Circuits)
An ideal radio tuning circuit consists of an inductor with inductance \(L\) and a capacitor with capacitance \(C\), resulting in an oscillation frequency of \(f_0\). The circuit is adjusted by replacing the inductor with one of inductance \(9L\) and replacing the capacitor with one of capacitance \(\dfrac{1}{4}C\). What is the new resonant frequency of the modified circuit in terms of \(f_0\)?
